Explore Johannesburg
Explore Johannesburg on a city tour to include the Apartheid museum, Soweto township(Nelson Mandela childhood and a volunteer project in that community). Finish the evening with a tour of Maboneng art district when you can enjoy dinner and drinks. We will finish the tour with a visit at Lesidi Cultural village where you will learn more about the different South African tribes and try an authentic South African meal for lunch. Safari Day
Start the day early in the morning to the Elephant Sanctuary where you will get up close and personal with elephants and finish the day with a safari game drive at one of the areas most fascinating National park. Nightlife tour optional (**)

Team members will be waiting for you outside with Keynect Global Sign outside the airport. At the welcome orientation, we will cover itinerary, meet and greet with the group, and receive fitting for African print clothing (if ordered).

Accra City Tour
Explore the history and culture in Accra, the country’s capital city during the Accra City Tour. Here you will learn more about the origins of the city and prominent Ghanaian and African Diaspora leaders such as Kwame Nkrumah and WEB Dubois. You will also get a glimpse of the hustle and bustle of Makola Market, one of the largest markets in the country and participate in a ceremony at the Diaspora African Forum where you can honor past relatives by sponsoring their name on the Remembrance wall.

Chocolate making, Custom Batik Fabric making workshop and Playhouse
Indulge in a delightful chocolate-making workshop where you'll learn about the fascinating history of cocoa in Ghana. Discover the various stages of chocolate production, from harvesting cocoa pods to transforming them into the delectable treat loved worldwide. Later in the day, Unleash your creativity in a hands-on batik fabric-making session. Batik is a traditional art form where wax is used to create intricate patterns on cloth before dyeing. As the day unfolds, prepare for an evening of laughter and entertainment at the Playhouse.

Kakum National Park, Cape Coast Dungeon and Traditional Naming Ceremony
Begin the day with an adventure in the lush Kakum National Park. Walk among the treetops on the canopy walkway, absorbing the breathtaking views of the rainforest. This natural haven is not only a visual delight but also a sanctuary for diverse flora and fauna. Cape Coast Slave Dungeon is the place where they held slaves before they were loaded onto ships and sold in the Americas. This door of no return was the last stop before crossing the Atlantic Ocean. Given this will be a very emotional and thought provoking experience, we will have a debrief session over lunch to discuss and process the atrocities of those events. As the day draws to a close, experience a traditional naming ceremony, a cherished ritual in Ghanaian culture. This ceremonial event symbolizes the bestowing of a name upon an individual, often in the presence of family and community members.

African Ancestral Wall and C Beach Resort
At the Ancestral Wall, a mural consisting of over 90 portraits of iconic leaders in Africa and her Diaspora. This wall was self-funded and constructed by a Los Angeles native where he was inspired to move to the country to share these heroic stories of our ancestors with students, visitors and locals. After the African Ancestral Wall, relax at the C Resort which has its own private sandy beach and calm coves.
