This wall was self-funded and constructed by a Los Angeles native where he was inspired to move to the country to share these heroic stories of our ancestors with students, visitors and locals. Cape Coast Slave Dungeon
Visit Assin Manso which was one of the largest slave markets for gathering people to sell into slavery during the infamous trans-Atlantic slave trade. Assin Manso served as the place where slaves had their last bath on their journey. Cape Coast Slave Dungeon is the place where they held slaves before they were loaded onto ships and sold in the Americas. This door of no return was the last stop before crossing the Atlantic Ocean. Given this will be a very emotional and thought provoking experience, we will have a debrief session over lunch to discuss and process the atrocities of those events. Stay overnight in Cape Coast.
